About: Vision Statement: CAF expects to empower the Somali people to be independent where reconstruction, Health, Schools, Peace, Justice, and social development are given the highest priority. Mission: CAF create better conditions to improve the standard of vulnerable people, which live in the capital, rural and urban areas and to utilize their resources to reach sustainable human development. Objectives  To assist poor and needy families in skill acquisition and self reliance programs and fight against poverty.  Working on civil education and literacy programs for getting sponsorship of street children and seeking to ensure comprehensive care for them in cooperation with individuals and organizations.  To establish medical centers and specialized hospitals and planning to launch a campaign to raise public awareness against HIV/AIDS, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and drug addiction and remote medical teams.  To promote the agricultural sector through capacity building and achieving food security by implementing agricultural projects.  To promote studies and researches, and provide suitable opportunities for young researchers  Conduct researches, feasibility studies, surveys and assessments in areas of community development, business, poverty reduction, and economy.  Caring of handicapped, helping them to amalgamate in the community, and giving them hope of better future. WORK AREAS: The main goals of the organization are to improve humanitarian aid and relief programs and focuses on the following programs such as:  Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Projects  Heath services  Agriculture Development and infrastructure  Training and capacity building on civic education &Cultural Projects  Construction Health, Schools and Wells  Seasonal Projects  Rural Development and Land Reclamation  Training programs and Research development  food security  Emergency response  Supporting IDPs  Protection  Sustainability Core Values  Non-violence and Peace  Respect of community values, traditions and beliefs  Respect of equity and fairness when dealing with Donors, beneficiaries and general communities.  Respect for human rights;  Gender fairness  Economic and social justice;  Transparency, accuracy and perfection in performance  Accountability;  Commitment.  Credibility  Trust/trust worth; Geographical Area of Organization The centre operates in South and Central Zone regions of Somalia in general and Banadir region in particular; and has headquartered in Mogadishu Somalia.
