About: I am trained physician from Somalia, have extensive experience in the maternal/ child health. I also worked as project manager of safe-motherhood project in Somalia funded by UNFPA and implemented by care international. currently I live in Canada work in a community health center helping new immigrants/ multicultural population in their settlement/ integration process. I am also a peer leader and do training on ongoing basis facilitation in chronic conditions, chronic pain and diabetes using Stanford model.
