The Oxford Maternal & Perinatal Health Institute (OMPHI) in collaboration with the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research, a WHO Collaborating Centre in Education and Research in Human Reproduction, have developed two online trianing courses - The evidence-based management of pre-eclampsia and eclampsia (http://www.gfmer.ch/SRH-Course-2010/pre-eclampsia-University-of-Oxford/index.htm) and The evidence-based management of postpartum haemorrhage (http://www.gfmer.ch/omphi/pph/course.htm), sponsored by the Maternal Health Task Force at the Harvard School of Public Health through funding provided by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The aim of this venture is to reduce maternal mortality by providing health professionals with evidence based information on the management of two of the leading causes of maternal death worldwide, and so there is need to disseminate the course far and wide, including to the members of The Global Health Network community.

I have done this course and enjoyed every bit of it through the GFMER. I would recommend any health care professional especially working in primary health care but not limited to it to do the course
