There is a discussion on the Global Research Nurses' network site about poor documentation and record keeping in the labour ward and post natal ward, with a request to the network to help to identify or devise tools to make documentation easier.
It would be really good to hear from you about this, I wonder if you would contribute to the discussion? You can find it on the Global Research Nurses' site. Going to the site is easy - it sounds more complicated than it is. This is what to do -
1. Go to the Global Research Nurses' site, which you will find on the list that appears when you click the 'Global Health Network Sites' button in the bottom left corner of this page. Click onto  'Global Research Nurses'
2. Click on Community tab on the top of the page.
3. Open Groups.
4. Open the group 'Clinical Research Nurses'.
5. The discussion is called 'Documenting care in midwifery'.
6. Click 'Join group' You can do this as a memeber of Mother Child Link
7. Open the discussion and add your comments in the box at the bottom. You need to be signed in; your Mother - Child Link sign in will access the Nursing site too.
I hope you will find your way there and take part in the discussion.
